Man Tin

The modern home is filled with small devices. Many of them are very useful – others less so. Light bulbs will come in handy at some point – as might batteries, miscellaneous wiring, screwdrivers, resistors, hand files, phono-adaptors and roll upon roll of electrical tape. It’s probably best that this stuff be thrown away, but we’re sure that some of it might prove useful one day – it’s just that we’re not sure what bits, or why, or when.

Best then, to store it all somewhere. But doing so in an orderly manner is often more trouble than it’s worth. Instead, many men opt instead to dump it all into a single container. This is ideal for any women in the house, who might otherwise spend their time stepping on rogue screws, ball bearings and springs.

The hoard might include keys for buildings we no longer live in, batteries which have long-since run out of juice and manuals for Betamax players and audio cassette decks. Exactly what are we doing with all of this stuff? It’s not exactly clear, but we’re certain that whatever the purpose might be, it’s a distinctly manly purpose.

This Man Tin offers men a safe space to store their masculine items. It comes with the words ‘Man Tin’ etched across the lid in giant letters, so that there can be no mistake as to the contents of the tin – and who is and isn’t allowed to peruse them. On the outside of the tin reads another message ‘where Allen keys go to die’.
